Ecosia is built on top of Chromium (Chrome), so it shares many of its benefits. There are minimal changes beyond reskining Chrome. The benefit is that any profits go to Ecosia and their environmental causes, rather than to Google. Recommended for those who want to keep their current experience, while supporting a more worthwhile cause.
